ITINERARY of the 6 Days Zagora Dark Sky & Berber Immersion Tour
Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
After being picked up at the hotel in Marrakech, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka pass with panoramic stops along the road.
Visit Ait Ben Haddou famous kasbah before continuing toward Ouarzazate known as Moroccan Hollywood. Night in hotel.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora
Departure toward Agdz and the Draa Valley with its large palm groves and Berber villages. Arrival to Zagora in the afternoon.
After dinner, first astronomy observation session using telescope and binoculars under the dark skies of Zagora. Night in hotel.
Day 3 : Zagora desert exploration
During the day we explore the surroundings of Zagora, desert landscapes, local villages, and palm groves. Visit nomadic families and discover the traditional life of the Sahara region.
After dinner, presentation regarding Berber astronomy, mythology, and stars navigation in the desert. Observation of planets and galaxies. Night in the same hotel.
Day 4 : Zagora camel trekking and astronomy

Day 5 : Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
